Nettie’s is looking for line cooks for immediate hire. 5 days a week. Off Monday and Tuesday. This kitchen makes everything on premises from cheese to sausage to pasta all by hand.
We are looking for a line cook to prepare food, setup their station and break down the kitchen. A culinary focused-individual is crucial. Someone to complete daily prep and execute station pick-ups with efficiency and discipline. The candidate will need to help with the overall success of the restaurant and ultimately help to obtain goals of growth.
Responsibilities will include:
-Setting up workstation
-Cleaning the kitchen at the end of dinner service
-Preparation of recipes
-Follow instruction of Chef & Owner
-Write prep lists and keep an inventory of station
-Keep workstation organized and clean throughout the day
-Maintain communication with teammates to ensure food comes out at the same time and in a timely fashion
-Help teammates with additional prep
-Help in making staff meal every day
Requirements:
-Understanding of cooking techniques
-A sense of urgency in all tasks
-2 Years experience in reputable establishments
- Available Wednesday - Sunday
