Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar/Restaurant General Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maximizing profitability. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and increase revenue
- Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
- Hire, train, and manage a team of employees, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Implement cost control measures to optimize profitability
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and attract new customers
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality management, preferably in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of bartending, customer service, and cash handling procedures
- Proven ability to interview, hire, train, and manage a diverse team of employees
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer software applications related to restaurant management
- Must have a valid driver's license
