As a One Chase Experience Platform Data Owner, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the business to drive faster innovation through strategic data use, ensuring data quality and protection. This role is accountable for all data within the One Chase Experience Platform product, supporting strategic business objectives, advanced analytics, business operations, and reporting. As a member of the product leadership team, you will collaborate with the Product Owner, design lead, and technology lead to ensure data delivery aligns with business quality and safety requirements. You will partner with the aligned Data & Analytics lead to enhance business value by identifying data necessary for advanced analytics outcomes, such as customer segmentation, personalization, and insights. As a subject matter expert, you will coordinate between providers and consumers to ensure business data is understood, fit for purpose, and integrated into analytics platforms. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating data risks throughout the data lifecycle in compliance with Firmwide policies and standards.Core Responsibilities
Define and execute a strategy for developing and delivering product data to support strategic business objectives, operations, advanced analytics, and reporting.
Foster a strong understanding of data usage within the business and across lines of business and functions through collaborative partnerships with multiple stakeholders, including Product Owners, analytics leads, and business process owners.
Identify and prioritize critical data within the product, ensuring it is well-documented, understood, and controlled through metadata classification.
Support the aligned Data & Analytics lead by identifying data required for integration into analytics platforms for projects such as analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Establish expectations for data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness within the product, coordinating resources to meet data quality requirements.
Prioritize resources to resolve data issues promptly, maintaining data consumer trust.
Develop processes and procedures to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks, including data protection, retention, destruction, storage, use, and quality.
Ensure compliance with Firmwide policies, standards, and procedures related to data integrity and protection.
Build and maintain deep relationships with product data delivery partners and data consumers, including senior leaders in Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk, and Control functions.
Drive teams toward robust execution milestones, understanding and mitigating risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the product development lifecycle concerning data.
Demonstrate governance by tracking and managing workstreams and initiatives, agreeing on and tracking KPIs, prioritizing deliverables, addressing risks, and ensuring successful deliveries.
Manage direct or matrixed staff to execute specific data-related tasks.
Qualifications
10+ years of industry experience in a data-related field.
Experience managing delivery across multiple workstreams with varying timelines, priorities, and complexities.
Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture preferred.
Deep subject matter expertise in business or product data area preferred.
Proven ability to manage tight delivery timelines and ensure strategic changes meet organizational goals.
Ability to execute through successful internal partnerships with other organizations, influencing people at all levels across various job functions.
Excellent leadership skills in managing products, programs, projects, teams, and/or employees.
Structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence.
Understanding of Agile technological development methodology.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
