Job Description: Position: IT AuditorLocation: Hoboken, NJ or Franklin, MAType : Contract Profile Summary: This position is for an experienced information technology audit professional who works independently with minimal supervision. This role supports IT risk reduction by following established protocols for:- Managing internal and external audits
- Confirming the factual accuracy of observations and findings
- Identifying root cause for findings
- Devloping sustainable remediation plans
- Collecting information and packaging information to demonstrate remediation is complete and effective
- Handles assigned audit and remediation activities.
- Reviews audit materials requests, outlines recommendations, confirms materials returned are relevant and complete and follows protocols for organizing materials for auditors.
- Provides assessment of factual accuracy; works with teams to identify root cause, and develops corrective action plans.
- Drafts formal management responses for confirmed findings when necessary.
- Works with teams to collect proof of remediation and formally close findings with auditors.
- Provides data for reporting audit status for active audits, remediation status, and elevates issues to supervisor for purposes or reducing risk by improving control design/performance.
- Contributes to developing and implementing control structures in support of new/evolving audit objectives.
