H&W Sr. BI Developer with Finance Specialty:H&W Background:Health & Wellbeing is a strategic Unilever global business unit established to capture the growth opportunity in the €140bn global consumer health segment defined by Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS) product category. Our ambition is to build a €5bn business globally; and be a global top 3 player within this space.As of today, our brands include Equilibra in Italy; OLLY, SmartyPants, Liquid IV, Onnit, Welly and Nutrafol in the US with €1.4bn in turnover. The H&W data and analytics team operates across all these brands in one common data function with the aim of helping these brands to grow through smarter, faster, and better data driven decision making. The data team within H&W was set up in May 2022 and is looking to expand. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of data in a global business unit with the latest technologies in the cloud.What You'll Do

Develop user-friendly data BI models to facilitate self-serve reporting by business partners across the organization

Build select enterprise reports and dashboards across multiple business functions with a focus on Finance

Partner with other members of the analytics team on creation of a data warehouse presentation layer

Hold analytic office hours with business partners to teach them how to leverage semantic models, how to use our supported BI tools, and serve as a thought partner in their analytic work

Assist with BI application administration

Assist with data engineering work as appropriate

In partnership with other analytics team members, define and implement design standards, tools, and best practices to facilitate a robust and scalable analytics platform

What You Need to Succeed

Graduate or undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Computer Science or equivalent work experience with 5+ years working in an enterprise analytics environment

5+ years working as a Business Intelligence developer creating reports, dashboards, and self-serve data models using a data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau

3+ years of proven experience driving Finance reporting projects

Solid background in Power BI, including semantic model design, DAX, and M

Strong foundation in dimensional data modeling

Expert level SQL

Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development life cycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations

Knowledge of best practices administering enterprise level BI reporting suites

Strong consultative, facilitation and consensus building skills

Excellent written and spoken communication skills

CPG, Retail or related industry experience

A sense of humor, an eagerness to learn, and a desire to make a difference

Desirable:

Experience with Python and Spark

Experience working in an Azure environment

Experience with Databricks

Pay: The pay range for this position is $98,300 to $147,500. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.Benefits: Unilever employees are eligible to participate in our benefits plan.
