Requisition ID: req51966 Job Title: Employment Supervisor Sector: Employment Employment Category: Fixed Term Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: USD 68,000.00 - 68,000.00 Annually Location: Elizabeth, NJ USA Work Arrangement:HybridJob Description Job Overview:The Employment Supervisor is responsible for effectively leading and enhancing Matching Grant (MG) and Refugee Social Services (RSS) employment programs. This position ensures program goals are met, ensures quality control for both service provision and contractual compliance, and supervises a team of staff and interns and volunteers. Responsibilities:Include, but are not limited to:Staff Management

Lead and develop direct service staff through facilitation of team meetings and individual supervision including coaching and goal setting. Oversee staff workload, help prioritize tasks, and troubleshoot challenges.

Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency.

Client Services

Actively participate and supervise the implementation and management of programs.

Track enrolled clients using proprietary database systems to ensure services are provided in a timely manner and properly documented.

Maintain close communication with staff regarding challenging cases and carry out timely, professional interventions to ensure appropriate service delivery.

Seek opportunities to advance gender equality.

Cultivate long-term relationships with local employers and develop strategic partnerships with community organizations.

Program Oversight

Coordinate quality assurance efforts by conducting periodic case file and electronic data reviews.

Monitor and encourage the employment team's progress toward programmatic performance requirements. Coordinate cases and effectively communicate between team members and departments.

Produce high-quality program reports for IRC headquarters and funders and ensure programs fulfill funder and agency requirements.

Assist in grant writing activities and development of new opportunities.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

University degree required, preferably in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field of study OR equivalent work experience.

3+ years experience securing employment opportunities for clients, either in refugee resettlement, the workforce development field, or closely related area of social service delivery.

Experience supervising, supporting, and training staff.

Proven success in promoting an organizational culture that reflects IRC’s core values of service, accountability, integrity, and equality. Ability to lead through the true collaboration of individuals from many cultures with a variety of skills and perspectives.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-cultural environment.

Highly organized self-starter with demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities and delivering quantifiable results under pressure, with tight deadlines, and in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and oral communications skills in English; proficiency in a language spoken by client populations a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Valid driver’s license and access to personal, insured vehicle, and the ability to travel regularly throughout the service delivery area

Working Environment:

A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time to perform the outlined responsibilities.

May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
