About Us:

Quality HealthCare Manville is a new ASAM Level 1 Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Manville, NJ providing outpatient Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), counseling, and recovery services. We are currently in the licensing phase and seeking a qualified and passionate Director of Substance Abuse Counseling Services to join our leadership team.

Job Summary:

The Director of Substance Abuse Counseling Services will be responsible for overseeing the clinical counseling department and ensuring compliance with all NJ State and Federal regulations, including ASAM and SAMHSA standards. During the pre-operational phase, this will be a consulting/administrative role. Upon facility opening, this will transition into a direct leadership role with client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and supervise counseling services and programming.

Ensure compliance with NJ Department of Health and SAMHSA OTP regulations.

Support development of policies and procedures, and staff recruitment.

Participate in audits, training, and documentation preparation for licensing.

Provide clinical supervision to counseling staff upon facility operation.

Qualifications:

Must meet NJ State requirements to serve as Clinical Director in an OTP setting.

Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.

LCADC or CADC required; Clinical Supervisor (CSW or similar) credential preferred.

Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in addiction treatment.

Familiarity with ASAM criteria, Medicaid/insurance documentation, and MAT programs.

Additional Information:

This position will begin as non-operational/administrative during the licensing phase.

Candidates will be actively involved in the startup and launch of the program.

Opportunity to grow into a full-time leadership role upon facility opening.
