CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing NJ-based organization that is looking for their next Junior Accounting Analyst.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$25/hr - $30/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Junior Accounting Analyst will work closely with the Assistant Controller and Senior Accountants. Accounting experience and Excel experience are needed. The Junior Accounting Analyst will need to have the ability to work in a team setting. An individual with past accounting and financial analysis experience is a huge plus. A minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience. Our client is open to recent accounting grads with a strong internship.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JUNIOR ACCOUNTING ANALYST:
Assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
Assisting with the monthly reconciliation process.
Financial analysis.
Assisting with the direct charge/allocation of expenses to departments.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE JUNIOR ACCOUNTING ANALYST:
The Junior Accounting Analyst will have 1 - 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
Proficiency in Excel - pivot tables & macros.
Prior exposure to NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or a larger ERP system.
High attention to detail.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required.
