Our client, a rapidly growing organization in scientific research industry is looking for a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join their growing team.

SALARY/HOURLY RATE:

$27- $28/hr

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Bookkeeper/Office Manager will be taking on administrative management duties and leadership roles within the accounting and finance department. The Bookkeeper/Office Manager will be responsible for full cycle AR, AP, and any duties day to day operationally per management.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BOOKKEEPER/OFFICE MANAGER:

Accounts Payable including: purchase orders, and vendor account management

Accounts Receivable: monthly invoices, and handling vendor records

Bank reconciliations

Day to day operational management

Reconciliations: balance sheets, and journal entries

Set up new vendor accounts

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE BOOKKEEPER/OFFICE MANAGER:

Past bookkeeping experience and degree is a plus

Hands on experience QuickBooks or relative software

3 years minimum of full charge bookkeeper

Proficient in Excel

Team player with strong analytical skills

Thrives in a collaborative environment

Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner independent from supervisors

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Degree is preferred but is not required
