CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Our client is a long-standing and well-respected organization in the commercial and corporate insurance industry. They are looking to add an Accounts Payable Accountant. This company is looking for someone professional that can work on a team just as effectively as they can work independently. Past experience and intermediate to advanced Excel skills is a plus.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$28/hr - $30/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Applicants for the Accounts Payable Accountant role must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Looking for some previous experience in general accounting, financial analysis, and accounts payable. 2 - 4 years of experience is ideal and experience with Accounts Receivables is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT:
Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices
Researching and resolving accounts payable with customers and vendors
Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT:
High-volume Accounts Payable experience or equivalent knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong Excel skills
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
