Voice Engineer

We are looking for Voice Engineer to join our Connect division in Sydney/Melbourne. The Voice Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting and ensuring the delivery of functionality for Symbio's Voice Networks. This position involves configuring and expanding voice capabilities, exploring new technologies, and engaging in hands-on learning to build practical skills and expertise in core areas.Reporting to Acting Engineering Manager - Enterprise, this role collaborates closely with the Connect Infrastructure Engineering Team and other key stakeholders to support relevant platforms.What you'll do as a Voice Engineer:Operate and deliver all voice network services, ensuring high functionality and qualityDesign and maintain systems for high availability and reliabilityManage upgrades and new implementations with minimal business impactDevelop voice network assets, support network expansion, and plan for future capacity needsAddress escalated issues, document work, and contribute to team knowledge sharingAs Symbio offers after hours support for our high-end customer base. This role will require after-hour escalations, on a rotating roster.
