About the Role
As a Front-End Engineer at Bilue, you’ll be part of a high-performing consultancy team that takes pride in delivering high-quality digital products. You’ll play a hands-on role in building and enhancing web-based user interfaces using React.js, along with core web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.We work with some of Australia’s most recognisable brands, so we care deeply about delivering elegant, scalable, and accessible solutions. You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers across disciplines to bring great ideas to life, always with a strong focus on usability, performance, and clean code.ResponsibilitiesBuild responsive, accessible, and interactive user interfaces using React.js and modern front-end best practicesCollaborate closely with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to deliver seamless digital experiencesWrite clean, modular, and maintainable code in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScriptOptimise applications for performance, speed, and scalability across devices and browsersContribute to and evolve front-end design systems and component librariesParticipate in sprint planning, code reviews, and design discussions to uphold a high standard of deliveryContinuously improve our front-end tooling, workflows, and development practicesWork within a modern Agile delivery environment, supporting rapid iteration and client collaboration
