Maintenance Technician position available immediately, Manchester NH Area
CPManagement is a residential and commercial Property Management Company, currently seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to join our team of maintenance professionals. We support a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties in New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts. Maintenance experience working in a multi-family and commercial setting is preferred, however, we are happy to review work history and skills to see if you may be a good fit for our company. Starting pay is commensurate with experience, however, we do offer a competitive rate of pay for the industry. Your main point of contact will be our office in Manchester, NH, however, you may be assigned to work at locations in Concord, Haverhill, Manchester, and/or Nashua. This particular assignment does involve more commuting time than other similar positions in the company solely due to the proximity of the properties in this portfolio. Mileage reimbursement.
Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as you will be expected to travel to job sites
Basic set of your own tools
Must be able to work overtime in emergency situations
Must be available for night/weekend On-call duty (rotates among the team), receiving an additional “On-call weekend payment” set by the company for being On-call that week
A background check and drug screening is performed as part of the onboarding process.
The technician works with a property maintenance team under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor to complete maintenance tasks/work orders for an assigned portfolio in a timely manner and consistent with company standards.
The primary job responsibilities include:
a) plumbing repairs
b) repair/replace door hardware/locks, smoke alarms
c) repair/replace window screens
d) appliance repair and installation
e) electrical repairs
f) roofing inspection/minor roof repair
g) HVAC troubleshooting and filter change
h) minor drywall and carpentry repair
i) painting
j) cleaning/grounds maintenance
k) other tasks as needed to maintain property appearance
Previous knowledge and experience performing these tasks is preferred. A high school education or equivalent is required (college hours preferred). In addition to the skills listed above, the Maintenance Technician will be required to comply with all OSHA regulations and any applicable laws in your area regarding health, safety, or environment.
