Small Accounting & Tax office located on South River Road in Bedford NH has an immediate opening for a temporary part-time bookkeeping/administrative position. Tax preparation experience helpful, but not required. Should the candidate possess tax preparation experience, additional hours would be available.
The individual would be responsible for the administrative side of our tax business, as well as other tasks associated with the bookkeeping side of our business. Responsibility and hours will be based upon experience.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Move documents from our tax web portal to customer database
Scan tax documents as needed
Enter basic W-2’s and 1099’s
Print and organize client tax returns
Basic data entry of customer documents into QuickBooks desktop, or online
Provide administrative support, as required
Skills:
Highly organized and reliable
Attention to detail a must
Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team
QuickBooks experience helpful, but not required
Excel and Word experience required
We are looking for the right individual to add to our team as we continue to grow our practice. This position offers 10 -20 hours a week based on experience, which can be flexible.
Position has potential to be a part-time permanent position.
