Duties
To fulfill the duties of a Senior BIM Manager - Civil Engineering specializing in BIM include:Able to capture client requirements and develop a Civil BIM strategy to meet those requirements.Provide proactive and strategic leadership for the civil engineering disciplineAuthor key BIM documentation and workflows aligned to industry best practiceBe able to lead and manage the roll out and implementation of the above within a client organization, across a program of works and at project levelDevelop a BIM Strategy for Civil across multiple projectsCommunicate the BIM strategy, documentation & workflows to stakeholdersBe able to identify risks and appropriate mitigationsInterface with clients, design teams and contractors implementing BIM methodologies and best practice from strategy level through to project delivery.Ability to lead & manage a teamFacilitate stakeholder meetings & workshopsCarry out structured reviews of project modelsCarry out clash detection of project modelsAnalyze construction documentationAnalyze and interpret data against project requirementsWrite detailed reportsPeer review work produced by colleagues maintaining Turner & Townsend quality measuresSupport colleagues with project deliverablesContribute to the development and maintenance of Turner &Townsend BIM documentation and processesCreate and contribute to bid proposalsProvide line management to colleaguesCarry out research and development of emerging technologiesSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.Act as an ambassador championing the digital services delivered by Turner & Townsend.
