Role Purpose
The Manager of FP&A is responsible for managing financial planning and forecasting at SpinCo. This role will have significant interaction with Business Unit and Corporate leadership, particularly through the budget and estimate cycles. In addition, the manager will participate in /coordinate ad hoc projects as requested.The Financial Planning and Analysis team is responsible for all planning and estimate cycles, internal reporting and related analysis for SpinCo financial results. The team also oversees the preparation of presentations to a wide spectrum of internal and external audiences including SpinCo Senior management, Investor Relations, Business Unit leadership, and external audiences.
ResponsibilitiesManage planning cycles for assigned businesses / functionsContinually review financial processes to improve overall efficiency and accuracy and drive effective financial forecastingDay-to-day liaison with business / corporate heads and coordinatorsCoordinate and actively participate in reviews with senior leadersAssist on closing processes, including detailed variance analysis and reportingIdentify ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency of processesOther Analysis & Ad Hoc Projects:Identify opportunities to create value-added financial analysisParticipate in other ad hoc projects
