Electrical Engineering Intern

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Electrical Engineering Intern for immediate employment in the NY metro area, based out of either the office in Manhattan or Bloomfield, NJ. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.This position is expected to start in May or June 2025.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Under the direction of a Sr. Electrical Engineer, the successful candidate will perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.Creating electrical plans and details with the use of Revit or AutoCAD.Utilize lighting software to perform lighting calculations.Assist with the electrical design of medium and low voltage power distribution, lighting, lightning protection, and grounding systems.Work on varying project types and sizes including offices, transportation spaces, retail, & federal facilities. Work under supervision of a senior level team member.
