Construction Resident Project Manager

AECOM is looking for a Construction Resident Project Manager to work on Highway Bridge related Construction Management projects in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.Plans, directs, and supervises all operations included in moderately sized projects with moderate risk, complexity, and financial impactManages and leads all technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using consistent processes and toolsManages subconsultants, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluationManages projects on a local to regional basis achieving quality outcomes, financial performance and client satisfactionSuccessfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and executes projectActs as primary point of contact with client, maintaining regular communication and addressing concerns promptlyOversees project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverablesCoordinates with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and local communitiesImplements and maintains safety protocols on construction sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policiesConducts regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specificationsManages project budgets, including cost control, forecasting, and reportingResolves technical issues and conflicts that arise during project executionPrepares and presents project status reports to senior management and clientsEnsures compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations related to highway and bridge constructionMentors and develops junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing project team
