The Division of Welfare and Supportive Services is seeking an IT Professional 3 in Carson City or Las Vegas. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining VMware virtualization infrastructure, monitoring, and optimizing network performance, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing necessary network upgrades. Additional duties involve configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, such as switches and wireless access points, administering server operating systems through installation, configuration, patch management, and troubleshooting, and collaborating with other IT teams and departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives. Developing and maintaining documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures, as well as providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, are also essential responsibilities.
