We're currently seeking a Lift Mechanic Level 2 to join our Mountain Operations department. This is an essential role that combines hands-on mechanical work, teamwork, and a strong focus on safety. What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Lift Mechanic Level 2, you'll work directly on our fleet of aerial and surface lifts, supporting both routine maintenance and on-the-fly repairs during operations. You’ll work closely with Lift Maintenance leadership, Lift Operations, and Mountain Management to ensure everything is running safely, smoothly, and efficiently.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on chairlifts and surface lifts
- Conducting daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections in accordance with ANSI B77.1 codes and resort standards
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues and assisting with basic electrical problems
- Working at height to inspect and service towers, sheave trains, grips, and terminals
- Responding quickly and safely to lift breakdowns
- Maintaining accurate logs and repair records
- Assisting in training Level 1 mechanics and seasonal staff
- Participating in pre-season lift prep and post-season shutdown
- Operating snowmobiles, ATVs, and other resort vehicles as needed
- Adhering to all safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and company policies
