Patterson Fire Protection Systems, Inc. is a family owned and operated fire sprinkler company.
We are currently seeking Foremen who would like to continue their career with us. This is a full
time position.
The qualifications listed below represent what is required to perform the position of Foreman
successfully, in a fast paced construction environment. An equivalent combination of education,
training, certifications and/or experience may be considered.
Requirements:
5 years experience installing fire sprinkler systems.
Install, test, service, and repair overhead fire sprinkler systems.
Ability to train others.
Construction experience, basic math, mechanical aptitude, problem solving and
decision making skills.
Read and understand appropriate NFPA 25, 20, 14, and 13 standards.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English with both employees and clients.
Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.
Ensure project timelines are being met and report changes or discrepancies.Ensure all
projects close out documents are turned in.
Attend job meetings and coordinate schedules with general contractor and other
contractors.
Must be reliable and able to work alone or as part of a team.
Ability to multi-task, plan, organize and troubleshoot.
Report scheduling delays and personnel issues.
Confirm all materials for a job are ordered and onsite as required.
Maintain and keep clean, company provided vehicle.
Ensure all work areas remain clean, safe, and orderly while working and at the end of
each workday.
Ensure all tools, equipment, and supplies are secured and accounted for while on the
job site and prior to the end of the workday. Clean, inspect and service required tools
as needed.
Lift and/or move 75 pounds.
Ability to operate an Apple IPad and IPhone.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
Able to obtain and retain any licenses: OSHA 10-30 (required), Certificate of
Registration (preferred), not required.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (required).
Must have personal vehicle.
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
