Foreman/Lead

Ipsen Construction is looking to hire a Foreman/Lead. We build new construction homes and additions, remodels, restorations, and perform repair work. The position is to be in the field working and in charge of multiple employees in and around the area of carson city. Must be detail oriented, must have a minimum of 10 years or more of in field experience (framing, cabinets, blue prints, electrical, plumbing, drywall, all areas of millwork, excavation, etc). Must have a clean appearance, and a good attitude. Must be proficient interpreting building plans, able to jump from the truck to working in the field to complete jobs, so tools are a must (we supply most large tools). Must be able to work with all computer programs, ie. Excel, office, word. Must be able to schedule crews daily, reporting progress with pictures to the contractor. Weekly and long term schedules updated with project manager and superintendent for all jobs. Must be able to perform material takeoffs for each job, and order materials accordingly (credit card provided). Must have an osha 30. Must be able to work with the general public, providing good client/contractor relations, fuel card is provided (work truck will be available after a 60 day probation period). This is an hourly position, but could move to salary. Health insurance is part of the benefits package after a 60 day employment period 1 week PTO after a year, 2 weeks after 3 years. Paid holidays.
