This is a summer seasonal position with the possibility of year round employment for the right candidate.
Season begins late April and ends early October.

Pay Range: $18-$22 per hour DOE

Boat Detailer job description:
We are looking for boat detailers to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to
perform hull and interior cleaning of boats including buffing, waxing, carpet shampooing, vinyl
and upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, cover cleaning, and other boat cleaning activities.
The ideal candidate should have an aptitude and willingness to learn to operate basic power
tools including buffing machines. They should also have good communication skills, the ability
to follow instructions and be detail oriented. Ultimately, the Boat Detailer role serves as an
essential part of our overall operations team, helping ensure that customer boats are cleaned in
an efficient, timely and safe manner.
Boat Detailer responsibilities:
Cleaning exterior and interior of boats as directed.
Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Performing quality checks.
Ensuring that the work area is clean and well-maintained.
Following all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
Communicating with other employees and supervisors to maintain an organized work
environment.
Assisting with other marina tasks as needed.
Required Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Aptitude and willingness to learn proper cleaning procedures and techniques.
Ability to lift heavy items, up to 80 lbs. or more.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other employees
and supervisors
Willingness to learn safety procedures and ability to follow them at all times
Willingness to assist with other tasks as needed
Overall, the Boat Detailer role is an essential part of our operations team, helping to clean
customer’s boats in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate for this role should have a
willingness to learn cleaning procedures and techniques, willingness to learn safety procedures,
and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
