Position Summary
As a Banquet Lead Cook, you will be responsible for leading the culinary execution of banquet functions, ensuring that food preparation, presentation, and quality meet the highest standards. You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef to coordinate event timelines and direct a team of cooks in a high-volume setting.

Prepare and cook menu items for banquet events in accordance with standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
Lead and supervise line cooks and prep staff during banquet operations.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality and safety standards.
Work closely with the Banquet Chef and Event team to understand event requirements and timelines.
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and food cost control.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas and equipment.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items.
Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
3+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of banquet and bulk cooking techniques.
ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain.
Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
$28-$32 Hourly
