We will be grand opening very soon and we are searching for the ‘EXPERIENCED LINE COOK’ who is passionate about culinary, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. If you’re ready to learn, grow, and plate up some delicious meals—this is your chance.
Line Cook Responsibilities
● Prepares and cooks to order foods requiring short preparation time.
● Reads food orders or receives verbal instructions on food required by guests,
and prepares and cooks food according to instructions.
● Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
● Prepare and cook menu items following our recipes.
● Expedites orders in a timely manner.
● Keep your station clean, organized, and ready to go.
● May clean and sanitize work stations and equipment and must follow all
company and regulatory rules and Health Department guidelines.
● Making sure the kitchen is stocked.
● Be a team player—pitch in wherever needed.
● Helps reduce loss/waste.
● Checks and dates all deliveries received and report any variances to supervisor in charge.
Line Cook Skills and Qualifications
● At least one year of kitchen experience (preferred but not required)
● Must be 21 or older
● Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
● Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
● Strong organization and active listening skills
● Food Handlers Certification (required)
● Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
● Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 25 lbs.
● Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Compensation : $22-$25 an hour
