Brief Summary: TDRPD has an exciting opportunity to join its Recreation Department. We are looking for energetic, fun, enthusiastic counselors who love spending time with children. Camp Trudaca and Trudaca Junior takes place outdoors at the beautiful Regional Park in Truckee, CA. Counselors work with children kindergarten through 5th grade and are responsible for planning daily activities like crafts, games, sports, nature, and drama. Weekly off-site trips are also part of the fun! Employees must be 18 years of age or older and must have some experience working with children. First Aid, CPR and Water Safety are also required (we will train you!).
Hire Date: June 24th, 2024 to end of summer
Hours: Monday—Friday between 8:30 am—4:30 pm (Full-Time, 40 hours a week).
Pay: $20.86 - 21.69 per hour, depending on experience, plus District perks (membership passes to the gym, pool, beach, and ice rink for employees and their families).
Location: Camp Trudaca and Camp Trudaca Junior — Regional Park in Truckee, California and some days at West End Beach.
