Brief Summary: Come be a part of the greatest summer camp program in California! If you are interested in the most amazing summer job you could ever have, and love working with youth in the outdoors, this is the job for you! Adventure Camp works with 4th-6th graders and we are looking for fun-loving people with enthusiasm, a great sense of humor, a love for the outdoors and kids, patience, and boundless energy. This job is not for everyoneit involves long days, not a lot of downtime and supervising kids with lots of energy. We hike, we swim, we go to the beach, water parks, regular parks, roller skating, movies and go on many other fun adventures.
Hire Date: June 24th, 2024 to end of summer
Hours: Shifts available Monday—Friday 7am—6pm (5 days at 8 hours/day)
Pay: $20.86 - $21.69 per hour, depending on experience, plus District perks (membership passes to the gym, pool, beach, and ice rink for employees and their families).
Requirements: Must be 18 or older and have current driver license. Current CPR and First Aid Certifications are desired. (Applicants can also obtain these through TDRPD.) Demonstrated experience in working with children is also desired.
