ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receiving Merchandise and unloading boxes.
Checking the items against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
Organizing the restocking of merchandise to deliver to store.
Rotating inventory to facilitate sales.
Using equipment such as hand trucks to move and transport merchandise.
Keeping track of inventory levels and notifying management when stock is low.
Using proper labeling and storage techniques to locate items quickly.
Ensuring that merchandise is presented neatly and attractively.
Maintaining a Clean and Safe Work Environment.
Sweeping, mopping & organizing stock areas to ensure a clean & safe work environment.
Adhering to safety protocols with handling merchandise.
Communicating effectively with manager and coworkers to ensure a cohesive work environment.
Reporting any discrepancies, damages or theft to the management team.
