Priority One Commercial currently has an opening for a Commercial Property Manager Assistant for our commercial real estate property portfolio. We are a full-service real estate commercial brokerage. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to follow directions, possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and learn quickly. For the right person, this position could lead to becoming a Property Manager.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Must have AppFolio experience

Essential Functions:

Receive and respond to tenant and owner calls within 24 hours.

Receive and respond to all tenant, owner, and vendor correspondence within 3 days.

Process and follow up on tenant/owner/association/inspection work orders within 24 hours

Obtain bids with specifications by the deadline supplied by the Property Manager.

Type and proof correspondence, etc., as requested.

Type and log the violation letter within 7 days of receipt. Log all tenant/owner violation responses within 2 days of receipt. Levy fines using a charge sheet on all ongoing violations within 7 days.

Receive and log architectural requests and process them within 2 days of receipt.

Schedule and attend meetings as requested by the Property Manager.

Assist Property Manager with all preparation and distribution of regular and annual Board of Directors meetings.

Maintain property and association files.

Complete the action list provided by the Property Manager by the deadline.

Serve as backup for the front desk.

Additional duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 1 years of AppFolio experience

Minimum 2 years of customer service and office experience

Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook – typing speed 50 wpm

Preferred Qualifications:

AppFolio experience is required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, and Google Chrome

Positive and can-do attitude

Fast learner

Great communication skills

Must be able to work as part of a team and independently, in a high-stress fast-paced environment

Must have strong organizational, written, and oral skills, be detail-oriented, be able to give and take direction, multi-task, and maintain confidential information

Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
