Description We are in search of a Property Accountant in the Real Estate - Sales & Lease industry, situated in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is centered around maintaining and managing financial data related to real estate transactions, including sales and leases. The individual will be expected to handle account balance, accrual entries, and balance sheets. Responsibilities: Handle account balance: Monitoring and managing the balance of accounts related to property sales and leases, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. Manage accrual entries: Taking charge of logging accrual entries in financial records, ensuring they align with the corresponding real estate transactions. Oversee balance sheets: Maintaining and updating balance sheets, ensuring they accurately reflect the financial status of the property sales and leases. Execute financial reports: Generate accurate and timely financial reports related to property sales and leases, aiding in effective decision-making. Coordinate with teams: Work closely with sales and lease teams to ensure that all financial data is accurately represented and discrepancies are addressed promptly. Compliance with regulations: Ensure all financial operations comply with relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to real estate transactions. Financial analysis: Conduct analysis on financial data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement. Customer service: Handle any inquiries from clients regarding their account balances and provide clear, accurate information. Financial strategy: Contribute to the development of financial strategies in relation to property sales and leases, supporting the company's overall objectives. Continuous improvement: Continually seek ways to improve processes and operations in the accounting department, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Requirements Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Property Accountant in the Real Estate industry. Proficiency in managing Account Balance, Accrual Entries, and Balance Sheets. Strong knowledge of property lease and sales processes in the real estate sector. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred. Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations is a plus. Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently. Must have strong ethical standards and integrity. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong customer service orientation. Excellent decision-making skills.
