At the direction and supervision of the Assistant Director(s) of Security and SOG Operations, the Special Operations Guard Manager (SOGM) is responsible for providing oversight, support, and guidance of all assigned personnel within Wynn Security Operations.Essential DutiesOperational Oversight:The SOGM ensures effective deterrence, detection, and response to security/safety related events, and is responsible for administrative and operational management of assigned supervisors and officers.Coordinate and implement executive protection services per Wynn policies.Provide necessary resources to effectively respond to emergency events effecting Wynn property and/or assets, such as terrorist/lethal acts, security/safety events, fires, riots, demonstrations, and evacuations.Liaison and coordinate with Corporate Investigations, Crisis Management, Hotel Operations, and LVMPD as necessary to resolve incidents, conduct investigations, and implement scene management protocols.Review staffing levels to ensure full coverage of posts and assignments. Assign the appropriate personnel as necessary and ensure adequate staffing for all shifts.Delegate authority and task responsibilities to assigned personnel. Ensure clear understanding of roles and equip personnel to fulfill their duties effectively.Consistently emulate and ensure adherence of company Forbes Five Star standards of service. Administrative Oversight:Collaborate with Hotel Security, Corporate Investigations, and Hotel Management to investigate incidents. Compile data and information for accurate reporting and identify trends or areas for improvement.Complete incident and use of force reviews to ensure compliance of company policies.Utilize various software systems to track attendance, payroll, overtime justification, incident reporting, work cards, applicable licenses, and inventory management.Manage programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Implement safety measures, conduct risk assessments, and address issues or situations potentially contributing to employee injuries. Hiring, Training & Development:In coordination with the Security Administration and Training team, participate in the recruitment process, screen potential candidates, conduct interviews, and select qualified candidates.Participate in training and development of assigned personnel, to include the Security Academy, SOG Academy, Defensive Tactics, Firearms Training, and implementation of sustainment training.Develop and implement training programs to ensure all personnel are properly trained in security protocols, emergency response procedures, and other job-specific skills.Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of assigned personnel.Provide feedback on performance to support the professional growth of supervisors and officers. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Assistant Director, Executive Director, or Vice President of Security.
