Growing together.The Home Health Supervisor Clin Admin RN is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the home health referrals/intake department. This role will include coordination of clinical and administrative intake staff to facilitate transitions of care and ensure timely processing of appropriate home health referrals. This position will also require interdepartmental collaboration for general operations to support Agency functions and business needs. Duties will be performed within the license holder’s scope of practice.Primary Responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight and supervision of the referrals/intake department
Process incoming home health referrals, oversee documentation and insurance verification processes
Provide and ensure optimal customer service interactions at all times with internal and external stakeholders, such as patients/families, referral sources, vendors, and co-workers of the team and other departments within the Agency
Collaborate and facilitate referrals/intake department participation with operations functions to support business needs including, but not limited to: phone coverage, cross-training, and triage of patient care issues
Hires, evaluates, and terminates referrals/intake staff. Proactively monitor staff retention and satisfaction
Participates in and supervises on-boarding and orientation programs for new referrals/intake staff. Responsible for orientation of referrals/intake staff, either directly or through delegation of appropriate Agency staff
Provide guidance and counseling to administrative and clinical staff of intake and referrals to assist them in continually improving best practices, processes, and workflows
Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures/Work for referrals/intake department, including but not limited to: job aids, workflows, and processes
Evaluate performance of referrals/intake staff on an annual or interim basis as appropriate; including but not limited to staff development, coaching, and performance improvement plans
Assists in the development of department goals. Develops, recommends, and administers Agency/department policies and procedures
Assists in the formulation, revision, implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures as well as strategic goals and objectives
Oversees maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, State, and Federal laws
Assures compliance with all Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations regarding licensure and certification of all Agency personnel
Assumes individual responsibility for professional competence and professional nursing practice
Primary office environment, however, will participate in on-call rotation for weekend, night, and holiday coverage through an administrator on-call capacity

Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing
Current, active unrestricted Registered Nurse License to practice professional nursing in the State of Nevada
1+ years of experience as a supervisor or manager with two years of experience in community health or acute care setting
Demonstrates the experience to supervise professional personnel, aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite of applications, and ability to master electronic medical record and other clinical application systems
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of current nursing practice, professional standards of care, and State & Federal regulations regarding home health
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in health care
Home Health experience
Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
