This includes the comprehension and application of marketing strategy to the development, implementation and execution of events, promotions, signage, collateral, videos, advertising, website and public relations.Essential Functions:

Ensure the proper use of the Arizona Charlie’s brand in all communications delivered by the property.

Manage property marketing and special events teams to ensure that processes and procedures are practiced, quality control is maintained and deadlines are met.

Hire, train and develop direct reports.

Assist in obtaining requested information for direct mail projects, pro-formas, post analysis, expense reporting and other requests as needed by various department heads.

Manage the opening, scheduling, and follow-through of marketing jobs with Creative Marketing, the Business Center, and Facilities.

Work with the Corporate Media Manager to determine advertising scheduling and content.

Participate in strategic planning and budget creation. Monitor monthly marketing expenses to ensure budgets are not exceeded.

Work with Public Relations regarding press releases and publication listings along with the process of screening, approvals and execution of 3rd party film and photography requests.

Work with Corporate Database Marketing to assist in the execution of all mailings, e-blasts and retail packages. Provide information for and proof all database communications.

Monitor the company website for any changes/additions.

Work with analysts to ensure that events and promotions fit within the strategic marketing plan.

Develop and execute casino special events and promotions, maintain events calendar and manage event registration prep-work.

Compile and submit compliance packets and event strategies.

Facilitate the communication of all marketing related activities to internal operating departments and ensure their proper implementation.

Ensure that promotional inventory is monitored and maintained at appropriate levels.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum 3 years casino experience in a marketing capacity

High school diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or PR preferred

Sound computer skills required, including Microsoft Office.

CMS, LMS and Mariposa computer skills preferred.

Sound management, diplomacy and multitasking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Solid knowledge of marketing and database marketing principles, including campaign design and execution, segmentation, measurement and analysis.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends to support planned events.
