SMOptum Activity Centers focus on offering our members and guests a diverse array of physical, intellectual, social, and emotional wellness activities. It is the goal of this group to keep our members active and engaged at whatever their functional capacity. The Activity Center Coordinator works closely with the manager to facilitate the activities at the Activity Centers. This position is accountable for monitoring the Activity Center’s guests and being proactive to their needs and connecting with them in a meaning professional manner. Must utilize CI-Care (Connect, Introduce, Communicate, Ask, Respond, Exit) when interacting with our members/guests to ensure an ideal customer experience. Ability to resolve moderately complex issues and defers appropriately to manager when needed. This position will greet guests, collect pertinent member data, and coordinate/monitor the daily scheduled activities at the Activity Centers. This includes setting up and tear down of the room(s). Must be highly organized and enjoys working with the 55+ population. Ability to budget time, work independently, possess an outgoing attitude, and seek out opportunities for location specific improvements daily.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PMLocation: 5820 S Eastern, Las Vegas, NV with the ability to travel 10% of the year to nearby locationsPrimary Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional service to all customers

Provides lead support and direction to the front office and non-clerical staff. Function as first contact for customer service matters - mediates patient concerns and resolves complex issues rarely deferring to supervisor/manager

Greeting guests

Setting up and breaking down rooms for classes

General cleaning duties as assigned – all exercise equipment is cleaned after use

Interaction with guests and instructors

Host after hour classes

Enforcing customer service standards and collecting patient demographics

Aids in implementation and auditing of Lean processes, including Standard Work

Development and oversight of efficient customer service processes. Ensure customer service standards are met

Monitors and orders Activity Center supplies

Waiting room management - cleanliness, communicate pertinent information to patients and ensure all patients have been assisted

Assists co-workers and team members with duties when requested, to include but not limited to, floating to other areas

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

2+ years of customer service and/or Community Center experience

1+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, etc.)

Ability to travel 10% of the year to nearby locations

Preferred Qualification:

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
