The Project Coordinator provides technical and administrative support to the project management team and manages limited scope projects from start to finish. This includes planning, organizing, and managing resources to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and to the satisfaction of clients. Project Identification & Planning: Work as a liaison for the customer to identify project requirements and specifications as well as administer and organize projects and support teammates. Prepare and administer engineering plans, work orders, contracts, schedules and cost estimates for construction, maintenance, or modifications. Implement and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Project Execution: Conduct comprehensive project assessments, including site visits, to gather accurate data and information for project estimation and cost analysis. Assist in preparing bid packages, issuance of contract documents and invoice approvals. Resolve issues and conflicts affecting project completion including those of a technical, schedule or contractual nature. Team Coordination: Demonstrate a proactive focus on effectively meeting client expectations and project requirements. Work collaboratively with project members, stakeholders, and sponsors to plan, organize and execute assigned projects. Build and maintain effective relationships with business partners while minimizing resource conflicts. Status Reporting: Prepare accurate project documentation when reporting out progress to Safety & Facilities leadership and business partners. Work closely with Project Managers to ensure thorough and accurate project documentation from beginning to end. Responsible for clear and efficient project communication with the customer and project stakeholders. General Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Safety: Promotes and adheres with the District's Safety Manual. Performs all work in the safest manner and stops work if safety related issues exist to people, equipment, and plant/department. Analyze, report, and recommend solutions for all safety concerns to appropriate leadership.

Compliance: Understands, maintains knowledge, and complies with all OPPD policies, procedures, and applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.

Communication: Promptly review and apply Corporate, Business Unit, departmental and team specific communications. Design, deliver and reinforce effective communications as required by role.

Continuous Improvement: Research and identify improvement opportunities related to work practices, procedures, documentation, tools or equipment. Applies improved work methods in the execution of work.

Fiscal Accountability: Adheres to all budget and expense policies and procedures. Provide input to Manager on budget design as necessary. Effectively cares for all corporate property, tools and equipment in order to minimize cost.

Cross Functional Working Relationships (CFWR): Identify opportunities to work collaboratively with peers and other work groups, exhibit professional behavior, and promote positive working relationships.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor of Science or associate degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or other technical discipline.

Working knowledge of building and construction codes and regulations.

Ability to work with multiple vendors and professional services.

Experienced in various project management methodologies, techniques, structures, and principles.

Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) across all mediums and audiences (internal and external).

Advanced MS Office Professional Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

A valid driver's license.

Desired:

Two or more years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Construction Management Intern, or Business Analyst

Familiarity and experience with Ventyx (Asset Suite), Cognos, Tableau, SmartSheet, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, PeopleSoft, MS Project, Primavera (P6), and SharePoint.

Work will be performed in a modern office environment amid normal conditions of dust, odors, fumes, and noises and outside in a wide variety of weather conditions (snow, rain, heat, cold, wind, etc.), terrain, and other natural environmental hazards as well as pollen and other airborne allergens. This position requires frequent visits to job sites with exposure to typical construction related activities. Use of proper PPE is required.

Time Demands:

This role is considered a "non-essential" role; however, this role may be required to report to work to support the restoration of normal business operations.

Maintain regular and predictable attendance in alignment with Departmental policy.

Must be available for overtime work and callouts as required to ensure continuance of efficient operation.

Closing Statement

Salary: Minimum: $86,386 - Mid-point: $107,640
