The Master Scheduler will develop a Production Schedule that considers the demands of the business. This is a direct hire role.To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Master Scheduler and Planner will be responsible for using the ERP system and other tools to create, publish, and control the production schedule to ensure on-time delivery of parts and products to our internal and external customers. Daily responsibilities will require collaboration with other departments to coordinate the flow of required raw materials, maintain proper inventory levels, and schedule production labor to facilitate on-time delivery of customer orders. This is a hands-on position that will require some time on the plant floor and interacting with employees and management.Responsibilities:

Defining and implementing balanced production plans and leveled schedules.

Champion the SIOP process, with a focus on 12-month demand, 12-month Revenue, and six (6) month internal capacity.

Conduct available to promise analysis and establish scheduled ship dates on all customer orders.

Collaborate with Operations and Procurement for recovery plans, when necessary.

Loading the master production schedule and driving MRP.

Ensuring alignment between MPS and sales order/contract requirements.

Monitor Schedule Attainment through the On Time to Build KPI.

Efficiently balancing customer demand, capacity and inventory through the optimization and deployment of a master production schedule.

Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan and provide feedback for KPI’s.

Perform supply-demand analysis each quarter, highlighting areas of concern for the next 12 months.

Follows and promotes safety guidelines.

Required Skills:

4+ years of direct, hands-on production scheduling experience in manufacturing.

Preferably bachelor’s degree, in a Business or Supply Chain field.

Exposure to manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements.

4 + years’ experience using MRP / ERP systems, preferably PLEX System.

Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes.

Self-motivated, goal driven, and able to act both independently and as part of a team.

Effective verbal and written communications and able to interface across multiple departments.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to reason and influence at all levels.

Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities.

A proactive problem-solving methodology - acting as a catalyst for bringing the right team members together to resolve issues that create risk of shipment.

Demonstrates strong aptitude for motivating others and building team unity.

A highly organized, open-minded & motivated self-starter.

A high level of communication and presentation skills (verbal & written) is required.

Ability to report findings and KPI's to SVP Supply Chain.
