Mowing Team Entry Level
We are glad you found us! May Lawn is a landscaping company that has been in the Flathead valley since 2000. May Lawn Maintenance Division is currently looking to fill positions for this upcoming season. We are scouting for fun, energetic, hardworking, punctual, up lifting individuals looking to join and contribute to our team. Also, did we mention, we work 4 10's so you have that 3 day weekend! :)
The Crew Lead Helper core duties are to aid the crew lead in mowing, trimming, and bed care duties. This position requires ability to learn and run machinery, good team building attitude, and great communication skills.
Mowing and trimming
- Able to operate a Walker mower and understand the functions of them
- Able to operate maintenance machinery. (Blowers, Trimmers, Etc)
- Knowledge of how to mow and trim and how to adjust to season
- Help crew lead in diagnosing different lawn diseases throughout season
Bed Care
- Help crew lead in bed care duties. Clean up following crew lead.
- Able to differentiate between a perennial and a weed
- Being able to detect basic signs of diseases in plants
- Start to identify different types of perennials, shrubs, and trees.
Communication
- Able to work in a team environment and have a positive attitude
- Able to effectively communicate with crew leader regarding property issues, training questions, and machinery issues
