The Irrigation Tech will manage the current client irrigation needs. Including, but not limited to start up, winterize, repair, seasonal adjustments, training, scheduling, and client interaction. Irrigation Tech will need strong communication skills, and quick problem solving skills in a fast paced environment.
Start Ups - Responsible for the scheduling of irrigation start ups and repairs
Calling and scheduling meet ups with clients for in house irrigation turn-ons.
Performing repairs needed from winter breaks (snow plows).
Communicating irrigation inventory needs to order.
Water feature clean outs and pump start ups.
Repair - Repairing and responding to customer needs throughout season. Must be able to quickly problem solve and remedy
multiple issues found in irrigation.
Respond to call outs on repairs. Understanding maintenance clients take priority.
Scheduling of repairs throughout season.
Contacting customers regarding repair meet-ups, answering questions, and customer satisfaction.
Inventory - Will need to have a firm understanding of the different inventory and the function of each.
Understanding flow rates of different pipe sizes.
Understanding heads, rotations of heads, adjustments, and sprays needed per section of coverage area.
Understanding of irrigation timers and how to set, adjust, and maintain
Property Check Ups - Checking our larger properties monthly and often weekly to ensure that all irrigation is working
Know large clients and needs of each property.
Make recommendations if improvement can be made with irrigation.
Communicate with maintenance manager on possible irrigation odd jobs.
Customer Recommendations - Being able to spot irrigation problems on properties we maintain.
Know product to make recommendations on each property.
Clear communication with customer and maintenance manager on needs.
Possible new install opportunities and recommendations.
Scheduling - Responsible throughout season of start up, repair, and winterize scheduling.
Understand scheduling and applying to weekly jobs.
Annuals - Will provide irrigation needs for annual installations.
Winterize - Responsible for the scheduling of irrigation winterizing
Calling and scheduling winterizing with clients for in house irrigation shut off.
Charting repairs needed for start up.
Communicating irrigation inventory needs to order.
Water feature clean outs and pump winterize.
