Hiring for a Maintenance TechnicianDescription:

Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment

Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance

Ability to read, interpret, and follow diagrams, blueprints, schematics, instructions, and operation manuals

Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery

Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed

Operating a variety of hand and power tools

Must be able to understand how to use testing equipment, such as a multimeter

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Should be able to push or pull up to 80 lbs

(CIT, INT, or EAT certification, recommended)

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Business System (or equivalent)

Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for extended periods

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to act competently in emergencies

Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience

Ability to follow manufacturers specifications and direction

Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
