JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing, possess advanced Excel skills, and must be able to handle sensitive matters with discretion. This position requires a self-driven leader who can effectively solve problems, ensure accuracy, handle various tasks in a multi-state environment, and be willing to accept some entry-level task-driven assignments within a growing organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analysis, preparation, and entry of all payroll information to produce accurate and timely payroll; including but not limited to bonus and commission calculations.

Processes new deductions for garnishments, withholdings, and other payroll related deductions.

Drive accurate and timely processes that result in minimal payroll errors and adjustments.

Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Works with managers for timecard accuracy, issues, and corrections.

Process manual checks and immediate payouts as needed.

Understands employee payroll issues, and communicates solutions effectively, professionally, and respectfully.

Resolve any state and local tax issues promptly.

Field employee payroll questions and provide timely and accurate responses.

Works with the HR Manager for Open Enrollments and processes insurance rate changes & deductions in payroll system.

Responds to employee verifications of employment.

Assist with HR processes and projects as requested.

Identify opportunities for improvement within your daily, weekly, monthly payroll processes – have a spirit of continuous improvement!

QUALIFICATIONS

Two years’ related experience required.

Strong knowledge of current payroll related laws and regulations.

Prior ADP experience, including Time and Attendance, highly desirable.

Experience in multi-state payroll processing.

Accounting experience a plus

FPC certification is a plus.

HR Certification (SHRM or similar) is a plus.

HOURS

Our Showrooms are open Monday-Saturday, 9am-5pm. Scheduled working hours are from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.

PAY

$50,000 - $60,000 annually
