Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are seeking a dedicated and diligent Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in KANSAS CITY, Missouri. The successful candidate will provide essential support within our Accounting Software Systems, particularly focusing on Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, and JD Edwards Enterprise. This role is an exciting opportunity to further develop skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure data accuracy Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer credit accounts to identify any overdue payments Take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments, ensuring adherence to company policies Regularly perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records Process invoices using coding techniques for easy tracking and categorization Regularly update and maintain data entry tasks for optimal record keeping Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage and analyze financial data Conduct check runs to ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors.
