Job Description
IAM Operations Engineer will be responsible for performing the daily identity and access management tasks which deliver successful, business-focused identity services that include facilitating access request that ensure our associates and contractors obtain the access that is required and in compliance with Cerner policies, regulations and within our SLA's. This position requires good communication skills as well as technical knowledge required to provide support our associates and contractors. A good understanding of industry best practices and standards for identity lifecycle management and be familiar with concepts of Access Request, Least Privilege, Entitlement Reviews, Separation of Duties as they will also be responsible for documentation and involved in providing input for the broader identity and access management program.Qualifications Basic Qualifications- At least 4 years total combine higher education and related work experience, including:
- At least 4 years Higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job Including:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics or Information Security
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- At least 1 year of work experience with identity and access management processes and solutions
- At least 1 years of Active Directory
- Scripting experience
- Perform identity lifecycle management processes (access requests, departures, job transfers, access remediation and privileged access requests) where automations does not exist.
- Document IAM functional processes and procedures including updates to existing documents.
- Assist with internal and external audits and reviews as requested.
- Troubleshooting access issues including multifactor authentication.
- Maintain knowledge of current IAM best practices and the ability to work with other teams to improve and implement measures to protect Cerner assets.
- Serve as an escalation of IAM services and related incidents.
