iDataLytics, LLC in Overland Park, KS has multiple openings for tech positions, including Radio Frequency Engineer.

Responsibilities: Responsible for working with the Radio Design and Systems Engineering team in the technical definition, development, delivery, and successful evolution of large and complex electrical engineering projects, ensuring products meet specifications and codes; responsible for lab and field-testing activities to collect the 4G/5G cellular network data and provide pre/post processing analysis; perform network optimization analysis and recommendations using a combination of drive test data and network statistics; perform layer-3 analysis and UE traces for end to end call flow to understand the behavior of network during troubleshooting for the network optimization; complete traffic analysis and behavior of SON features such as ANR, Auto PCI, Overshooting and PCI collision; analyze SAS logs for the incumbent activities in the Charter CBRS network; perform site build verifications and report acceptance from the vendor; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Overland Park, KS.

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements: 3 years of experience in the job offered or related positions. 3 years of experience performing full development and testing activities for cellular connections such as 3G, LTE/4G or 5G; 3 years of experience in analyzing and operating RF communication systems and technologies; 3 years of experience using tools such as XCAL, XCAP, Mapinfo, Coyote data logger, Netspan, SuperEMS, or Spectrum Analyzer; and 3 years of experience in design, test, and troubleshoot of RF, analog, and mixed signal circuits.
