Collections Specialist

Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is working with a company to find a highly motivated and results-oriented Collections Specialist for a 6-week temporary assignment, based onsite at their location.This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in commercial collections and play a key role in maximizing client cash flow while maintaining positive relationships with overdue accounts. You'll be working directly with the client team on-site, immersing yourself in their culture and processes.Responsibilities:Effective Communication: Contact delinquent customers via phone and email, utilizing professional communication skills and active listening to understand their situation and negotiate mutually agreeable payment arrangements.Negotiation and Resolution: Develop and document effective collection strategies, including negotiating and finalizing payment plans that secure timely settlements while preserving customer goodwill.Analysis and Research: Analyze account information and research outstanding invoices, identifying potential challenges and developing targeted collection strategies.Accurate Recordkeeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all collection activities and client interactions, ensuring complete and compliant documentation.Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all relevant collection regulations and reporting requirements, guaranteeing ethical and transparent practices throughout the collection process.Qualifications:2+ years of successful experience in commercial collections, preferably within the manufacturing industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.Proven track record of achieving collection goals and resolving delinquent accounts.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong data entry and reporting skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational and time management skills to thrive in an onsite team environment.To Apply:Please submit your resume online or call us directly at (314)262.4344.
