Architectural Specialist II

Assist in the preparation of architectural construction documents. This position will also coordinate activities including the work of mechanical, electrical and interior departments as well as outsource consultants such as structural, civil, etc.GENERAL SKILLSThorough knowledge of building codesStrong organization and communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Applications (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Proficient in Revit and AutoCadProficient with two years of experience with RevitProficiency in Speclink preferredProficiency in ProcorePRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare working drawingsCoordinate with the Design Architect on the design of the project.Participate in client design meetingsPrepare clarification of project development documentsCoordinate with local project AHJsAssist in preparation of Contract Change OrdersAssist checking shop drawingsMake field trips as necessary to verify informationCoordinate with engineering and specificationsAssist in the preparation in specificationsBe knowledgeable on application of building regulations to projectsFunction as detailer to the extent necessary to complete projects on schedule and within budgetPerform all other related work, as assigned or as apparentEXPECTATIONSTravel as required (up to 10%)Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and with other disciplinesStrong passion for construction documents and detailing a building, preferably, multi-storyEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITESMasters degree in ArchitectureArchitectural Specialist or similar position24 months of Revit experienceArchitectural License preferredLEED accreditation preferredRetail, hospitality, or financial design experience preferred, but not required
