Position Summary: The Communications Specialist reports to the System Manager of Communications and works closely with the Marketing and Communications team to connect with employees, patients, and our community using Bozeman Health’s brand standards, mission, vision, and values. This position will excel at crafting engaging and impactful messaging for both internal and external audiences leveraging emerging technologies. This role focuses on enhancing company culture, driving employee engagement, and strengthening our brand identity through innovative storytelling. Additionally, this position is responsible for creating content from patient testimonials and care team member stories as well as supporting the Human Resources and Marketing teams in promoting Bozeman Health’s open positions. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or equivalent field.

Four (4) years of relevant experience in copywriting, content creation, and creating communications materials.

Some experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premier Pro, After Effects)

Preferred: Experience in health care communications.

Essential Job Functions: In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.Internal Communications:

Collaborate with HR, leadership, and department heads to craft messaging tailored to employees at all levels.

Create and distribute multimedia content, including articles, videos, podcasts, infographics, and social media posts, that communicate organizational goals and updates.

Innovate internal communication channels by adopting and integrating new technologies to reach employees effectively.

Drive participation in internal events, surveys, and programs through compelling promotional content.

Coordinate information and draft content for weekly employee newsletter in collaboration with CEO and System Manager of Communications.

Coordinate and execute internal employee forums.

Assist with employee communications including emails and posting on intranet site.

Assist with internal projects (i.e. coordinating Bozeman Health apparel store and swag ordering).

External Communications:

Collaborate with the external communications team to craft content that highlights company initiatives, employee stories, and organizational achievements for public audiences.

Produce high-quality stories that demonstrate the organization’s values and impact, suitable for website, social media, newsletters, and press materials.

Assist in campaigns that position the organization as an employer of choice and an industry leader.

Ensure external content is consistent with internal messaging to maintain a cohesive brand voice.

Schedule Requirements

This role requires regular and sustained attendance.

The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.

On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
