Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, engineering or related experience
Demonstrated progressive business acumen skills
Strong computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Experience in electric transmission business or project development
Ability to deliver on strategic objectives and tariff or proforma requirements
Knowledge in FERC regulatory provisions and requirements
Highly motived, excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple conflicting tasks and demands
Ability to effectively lead diverse teams and manage conflicting schedules and priorities
Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving record
Ability to demonstrate the physical, perceptual, and mental abilities required to perform the job
Ability to spend time in the office and in field environment with exposure to all field hazards and weather
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and extended overnight hours may be required
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:

Assemble and lead internal cross functional, multi-disciplined teams through multiple solicitation and key processes
Lead and seek strategic development opportunities and initiatives to support NorthWestern Energy's electric transmission capacity vision and objectives
Compile and write business reports, presentations, and other initiative materials
Coordinate and collaborate with other functional areas to plan and successfully execute company objectives
Translate company financial, commercial, risk management, technical and operating goals into effective business strategic and objectives
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external strategic partners
Provide periodic updates to and interact with senior management
Build and maintain effective working relationships with direct reports and other department leadership
Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Full-time position.$108,400 - $176,400 annually, depending on experience.
