Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a System Integration Engineer to join the T-7A Advanced Pilot Training Program located in St. Louis, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.The Overall Design Team is responsible for the system design of the T-7A Advanced Pilot Training Aircraft and integration with the ground-based training system. The individual who fills this position will support the group responsible for technical integration of the aft fuselage which is designed and built by our partner SAAB. This individual will also be part of the team developing the system design for the new T-7A derivative aircraft.The program is currently in engineering manufacturing development with multiple aircraft in flight test. The T-7A is an exciting, dynamic program. Join the team and Let’s Go Fly!Position Responsibilities:

Leads system verification reviews and airworthiness reviews

Manages formal technical communications

Leads technical engineering investigations of issues and drives issues to resolution including use of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process.

Leads the implementation of new design criteria, technical requirements, and processes and tools

Supports the review of technical contractual deliverables

Identifies and mitigates risks to program technical execution.

Supports production operations, lab test, ground test, and flight test activities

Supports issue resolution in all program areas including Configuration Management, Air Vehicle Design, Integrated Logistics & Support, Quality, and Test.

Supports updates to interfaces

Manages the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) 3D engineering data from the aft fuselage to support all program downstream engineering environments.

Supports T-7A derivative and variant aircraft design studies

Engages with program leadership, other cross-functional leads, and customer technical leadership

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Lead Level Systems Integration Engineer.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

Bachelor degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

3+ years’ experience in leading efforts to resolve technical issues

3+ years’ experience in aerospace, automotive, robotics or similar industry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Software and hardware integration experience

Experience with system level architecture development

Experience with airworthiness certification and requirements verification activities

Experience with lab, ground, and flight testing

Experience with technical customer engagement

Experience with engineering and design software (i.e. CAD/3D packages UG/NX, CATIA. SolidWorks, etc.)

Typical Education/Experience:Experienced (Level 3)Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Lead (Level 4)Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
