In this role, you will provide leadership and business relationship management to the Reman IT organization at Caterpillar facilities located in Corinth, MS, Fargo, ND and Franklin, IN. Also, you will have accountability for a small Electric Power team in Alpharetta, Ga. Your role will involve driving emerging technology trends and collaborating closely with business leaders, process partners, vendors, and IT support staff. You will tackle complex business problems with innovative solutions, enabling new capabilities to support our business objectives. Additionally, you'll offer thought leadership by strategically influencing business partners. This position is crucial in ensuring our IT initiatives and strategies are seamlessly integrated and effectively support our global operations in the Energy and Transportation segment.Responsibilities:This role acts as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to develop IT solutions leveraging existing & new platforms to realize Reman business goals. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and integration of IT systems within the manufacturing facility, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and other related software.

Provide ongoing technical support to manufacturing staff.

Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of manufacturing data to improve process efficiency, quality control, and decision making.

Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.

Provide leadership and career development for E&T IT support team.

Serve as escalation point for Priority 1 & 2 Incident tickets on the ITSM process using the Service Now.

Manage strategic alignment of IT and Business projects.

Manage relationship with internal and external suppliers, such as Enterprise network, database, servers, security, and desktop support.

Resolve issues and eliminate roadblocks to realize project solution architecture to ensure no delay in project implementation.

Trusted liaison between business & enterprise IT throughout the life of the new product introduction, implementation, deployment, transition to support and ongoing continuous improvements.

Talent Management: Working knowledge of the critical competencies required to achieve intended results; ability to generate consistent approaches for hiring, selection, retaining and leveraging talent across the organization.

Leadership: Extensive knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.

Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).

IT Service Management (ITSM): Expert knowledge of Information Technology (IT) service; ability to manage IT services and oversee service operations.

Top Candidates will also have:

Typically requires a relevant degree and/or 9-12 years of progressively complex experiences.

Previous technical and managerial experience in applications or infrastructure with a broad background in system hardware, system software, support and development methodologies, business planning, project management and customer application needs.

A broad knowledge of one or more application and infrastructure component is necessary.

Strengths in personal planning, initiating actions, delegation, building consensus, decision making, leadership and interpersonal skills areas.

Industrial manufacturing experience, digital manufacturing transformation background, and leadership through influence in a highly matrixed and federated environment.

Innovation mindset

Experience in applying lean skills.

Experience in multiple technologies including Distributed / Mainframe / Integration / ERP

Knowledge and experience in project management (Scope, Cost and Time Estimation, Resource Planning etc.)

Working with diverse global internal and external staff.
