NOW HIRING: A Painter 1 is responsible for the preparation and primer application in the manufacture of various pole products in accordance with product specifications As a Painter 1, you will:
Operate blast and prime booth using a variety of techniques to prepare and paint product surfaces, according to product specifications
Inspects and corrects defects in products and equipment
Prepare surfaces for painting
Prepare and replace primer cans for use in the paint booth system
Move and organize incoming paint into storage area
Monitor and report paint inventory
May mix paint products as required
Accountable for on-time execution of Capacity Plan/ Execute Daily Pitch
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required
Role Qualifications as a Painter 1:
Knowledge of production operations involving liquid painting of manufactured products requiring standard finishes mainly for protective coverage or secondary finish
Knowledge in methods and techniques related to painting in specialized areas and work environments
Proficient knowledge in interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
Understanding of guidelines for safe handling and disposal of paint and hazardous chemicals
Knowledge of primers (epoxy/zinc)
Ability to read Mill Gauges

The actual base salary for this role is based on various factors, including but not limited to market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The range provided is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified. Other details:
2nd shift is Monday - Thursday 3pm – 1am
10-hour shifts (per day) including paid breaks (1st and 2nd shifts)
